2006 Seagrave Ladder
Ladder 71 is Milford Community Fire Department's newest
addition to the fleet. It is a 2006 Seagrave 100' aerial with a
Commander II chassis and Force body. The ladder has a tip load rating
of 500lbs at 0° - 80°. The capabilities of this ladder far exceed the
previous ladder and will allow us to utilize it in places we could not
use the old one. Ladder 71 is the second unit out the door for most
fire runs and carries most of our rescue and hazardous materials
equipment.

2002 Seagrave Pumper
Engine 72 was purchased in 2002 by MCFD. The truck was designed
around an FDNY style pumper with modifications to meet our needs. E72
was nicknamed the "Wanna-be" by the workers at the manufacurer. It
serves as the second out engine for structure related responses in the
city. E72 responds second out for auto accidents. When MCFD is called
upon for mutual aid with our neighbor departments this truck is the unit
that responds.

1993 Seagrave Pumper
Engine 71 serves as MCFD's first out piece of apparatus on all fire
details. This engine is equipped for both structural response and
rescue details. In 2005 it was sent to Seagrave, in Wisconsin, to be
refurbished. The interior was upgraded to include three-point seatbelts
and to repair worn interior components. The exterior was repainted and
the lighting package upgraded to meet current standards. All other
systems (chassis, drivetrain, pump, etc.) were overhauled and/or checked
to ensure many more years of service.
