Engine 71 serves as MCFD's first out piece of apparatus on all fire details. This engine is equipped for both structural response and rescue details. In 2005 it was sent to Seagrave, in Wisconsin, to be refurbished. The interior was upgraded to include three-point seatbelts and to repair worn interior components. The exterior was repainted and the lighting package upgraded to meet current standards. All other systems (chassis, drivetrain, pump, etc.) were overhauled and/or checked to ensure many more years of service. By clicking on the compartments above all of the equipment carried can be viewed.
