Child Safety Car Seat Program

A program we are supporting is the "Child Safety Car Seat Program" which lets you come to our fire station by appointment and get a full car safety seat inspection.  If your seat does not meet the proper criteria,  you will receive a brand new car seat installed by us before you leave at No Cost.  All seats were donated by the Milford Community Firefighters Club and Children's Hospital.

If you would like your child seat inspected or have questions about installation call the firehouse to set up an appointment.  The phone number is 513-831-7777.

Gun Lock Safety Program

The Milford Community Firefighters Club is participating the Gun Lock Safety Program.  This program is for residents to come in to our station and pick up gun locks for your guns.  Please do not bring your guns with you, we will give up to 2 gunlocks free and $2 for each additional lock needed.

Replacements available

Replacement gun locks are now available for those who were given gun locks by the Milford Community Fire Dept. under the Project Homesafe Program last year.

By calling the hotline # 1-800-726-6444, or by contacting Russ Rader at 1-301-504-0580,ext 1166, replacement locks will be provided for free.  Those calling the hotline will be given a replacement lock that has an improved locking mechanism and a thicker-braided steel cable.

Those with questions about the program can also call Jim Nickell at 831-7777 or email him by clicking his name.

 Res Q Disc

When seconds count ... the Rescue Disc turns onlookers into rescuers!

The Rescue Disc is designed as a life saving tool in a water environment. It is a substitute for other life saving devices such as the large difficult to throw white ring with heavy rope attached often seen on boats and ships. It can be used from land or a boat or dock.

The Rescue Disc is easy to transport and can be easily stored in a convenient place in your boat or on your dock. Our Police and Rescue vehicles carry a Rescue Disc.  It is an essential life saving tool that should be included in everyone’s rescue and safety equipment inventory.

If you would like to purchase a Res Q Disc they can be purchased at our station located at 687 B US 50.  If you have any questions feel free to contact us at (513)831-7777.
